Bottom Line: Great for someone whose hair type and style allows for a light pomade hold and wants to be able to rework their hair during the day and wash it out with ease at night. The tin says “hair-crème” but it’s definitely not a cream. It looks, behaves and has the consistency of a light, wispy pomade. It’s easy to scoop out, smells nice and has a nice sheen when applied. You want your hair moist while you’re applying and it goes in smooth and easy; Super-Neat isn’t difficult to comb at all. How much you want to use will vary from person to person but I scoop up roughly the size of a Hershey’s Kiss.I have fine, straight hair with lengths going from 1” to 5” and this light pomade doesn’t weigh my hair down; my style keeps its desired height easily over an 8 hour work day and beyond. I’m able to easily touch up my hair throughout the day with a pocket comb if needed, with ease and without water or struggle.Super-Neat washes out in the shower with one shampooing session. This seems like an odd statement for those coming from hair gels, waxes or crèmes but for those coming from traditional pomades, you understand the struggle.Best part? The retail price on this stuff is CHEAP compared to most other hair products of this type. I can even get this locally for under $4 but that’s just luck on my part. So if you’re hesitant just buy it and try it...low cost, low risk.Pros:-Rinses out easily-Holds well throughout a normal day (depending on hair type)-Reworkable-Pleasant smell-Low costCons:-Hold isn’t as strong as traditional pomades-Not readily available in most places-Doesn’t come in larger size
