ASUNG TRADING, INC., POLICY_v2.01 (Effective Date: 2022.04.01)

 

 

At Asung Trading, Inc., our mission is to provide you with the best shopping experience for beauty and cosmetics goods.

 

Terms and Conditions

  1. Warranty: Asung Trading, Inc (hereafter “Asung”), its website, its catalogues, and the materials and products on them are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied of merchantability; fitness for a particular purpose or otherwise, which extend beyond the manufacturer’s description on the label of each product.
  2. Limitation of Liability: Asung shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials on their website or their catalogue or the performance of the products, even if Asung has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  3. Quantity: We reserve the right to limit order quantities.
  4. Past Due Account: Payment not made within the terms stated on the invoice are subject to finance charges at the rate of 1.5% per month or a fraction thereof from the due date. Should any part of the indebtedness evidenced hereby be collected by law or through an attorney-at-law, the holder shall be entitled to collect all attorneys’ fees and all cost of collection.
  5. Claims: Must be made within 3 days of delivery. You must notify customer service immediately upon receipt.
  6. Returned Checks: Any returned checks will incur a $20 service charge.
  7. Pricing: In the event that Asung mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Asung reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price. Asung reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Asung shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
  8. Merchandise Content: Asung attempts to be accurate in its product descriptions. However, Asung does not warrant that product description or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If you find a product not as described, your sole remedy is to return it unused.
  9. Freight Policy: Freight charges will be paid by the customer.
  10. Export Policy: You acknowledge that the purchased goods are subject to the customs and export control laws and regulations of Canada and may also be subject to the customs and export laws and regulations of the country in which the products are received.
  11. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Asung, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers from and against all losses, expenses, damages and costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, resulting from any violation of these terms and conditions or any activity related to your account (including negligent or wrongful conduct) by you or any other person accessing the account.

A customer of Asung Trading, Inc., agrees to the above terms and agreements.



“In order for Asung Trading Inc to fully support our customers more efficiently and effectively, please abide by these policies. These policies will not be flexible and nor shall Asung Trading Inc.”



Shipment Damages / Shortage Claims Policy

For Freight Shipments, a customer must do the following in order to receive credit. 

  1. At the time of delivery, check that the shrink-wrap has not been cut or torn anywhere. 
  2. If the shrink-wrap is torn, write it on the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) and notify Asung Trading Inc. Write exactly what is damaged on the delivery receipt and have the truck driver sign it. If possible, take detailed pictures of damaged parts and/or items.
  3. Please email info@asung.ca or Fax +1 (416) 352-5259, a copy of the delivery receipt (Bill of Lading), detailed pictures and notify our customer service regarding the claim after the delivery has been completed.
  4. All shipments must be counted and if there are any shortages or surplus, you must have the driver sign for it. If any shortages are not signed, Asung Trading Inc will not accept these claims.
  5. You are allowed to claim the damages and/or shortages with Asung Trading Inc within 3 business days of receipt of shipment. We will not accept any claims after 3 days.
  6. All our invoices and/or packing slips are securely attached to the pallet/skids. They are either located on the side or on top of the skid. Please save your invoices before discarding the shrink-wrap.



For Parcel Shipments, a customer must do the following in order to receive credit. 

  1. At the time of delivery, check that the box has not been cut or torn anywhere. 
  2. If the box is torn, tell the courier regarding damages and notify Asung Trading Inc. Please take detailed pictures of damaged parts and/or items.
  3. Please email info@asung.ca or Fax +1 (416) 352-5259, detailed pictures and notify our customer service regarding the claim after the delivery has been completed.
  4. All shipments must be counted and if there are any shortages or surplus, you must notify the courier. If any shortages are not signed, Asung Trading Inc will not accept these claims.
  5. You are allowed to claim the damages and/or shortages with Asung Trading Inc within 3 business days of receipt of shipment. We will not accept any claims after 3 days.
  6. All our invoices and/or packing slips are securely attached to the leading box. They are either located on the side or on top of the box. Please save your invoices before discarding the boxes.




Return Policy 

Asung Trading Inc will readily accept returns within 15 days from the date of the product delivered only with confirmation from our customer service. If you return items after 15 days of receipt of shipment, a 20% restocking fee will be applied. We will not accept any returns after 30 days of receipt of shipment. Please note we will not accept any returns without a return confirmation from our customer service. 

All products MUST be in their original packaging and sellable condition. Customers must provide a photo(s) of the item(s) that they wish to return to confirm the sellable condition of the product(s). Customer Service will give return authorization only after confirming product eligibility for return.

Unless it is defective or damaged, we will not accept returns for used and opened item(s). For sanitary health concerns, wigs and hairpieces are not eligible for return. We only accept the return of salon supplies, or liquid/cream/powder hair care products that are sealed and/or unopened in their original packaging. We do reserve the rights to refuse returns on personal use products for any reason.

  • Original invoice must be presented at all times.
  • The number of returned items must match the purchased quantity of its original invoice.
  • Within 15 days of receipt of shipment, we will give you Full Credit.
  • Within 15 days - 30 days of receipt of shipment, we will deduct 20% from your original invoice.
  • Over 30 days of receipt of shipment, returns will not be accepted.
  • We will not accept any returns without a return confirmation from our customer service. 
  • Asung Trading Inc reserves the right not to accept returns under certain circumstances which violate our policies.

Return Product Eligibility

  • Final sale items, PPE products, wigs, ponytails, braids, weaves, and/or any customized products are not eligible for a return.
  • Product(s) must be in original packaging and sellable condition (sealed, unused, unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with tags attached).
  • Special ordered product(s) (pre-ordered or customized or personalized item) is not eligible for return.
  • If the product(s) has been unsealed, used, altered, worn, or product tags and/or packaging tampered with, the product(s) will not be eligible for return.

 

In-Store Credit

  • Once a return is accepted by our customer service, we will issue an ‘in-store credit’. We will apply in-store credit(s) to the next invoice. Please note we only issue in-store credit, not refund.

 

Shipping Policy & Information

Our customer service will contact customers who require shipping services to inform shipping costs prior to invoicing.   

We offer both parcel and freight shipping services. Shipping rates are solely calculated upon product weight and dimensions. Additional charges may accumulate for requiring additional services.  

Customers are responsible for informing us of special shipping instructions. For example,  shipping to a residential address, tailgate service, threshold (inside delivery) service, limited access (shopping malls, private storage) service, APO/FPO address, appointment delivery service, etc. Neglecting to inform such information, there will be surcharges added to your original billing.

Shipment Delays

Asung Trading Inc is not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, natural disasters, customs, and/or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times.

Please note during holiday seasons, you may expect delays due to increased parcel volumes. Shipping to APO/FPO and/or any Limited Access addresses can cause delays for clearance. For the lost shipment, the customer may submit a claim directly with a courier. If you require assistance for claims, we will submit a claim on the customer’s behalf upon request.

Duties, Taxes & Import Fees (US & International)

Asung Trading Inc ships orders DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid). Meaning, we do not collect any duties and/or taxes for international orders. We have no control over import taxes, duties, and/or customs clearance fees, nor can predict what they may be.

For U.S. and international customers, it is your responsibility to pay duties, taxes, and/or any customs clearance fees upon receiving. Furthermore, international customers are responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported. The recipient is the importer of records and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. All orders shipped outside of Canada may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. Every country has different customs policies. Thus, international customers should contact the local customs office for more information. Please note customs clearance procedures can cause delays in shipments.



PAYMENT POLICY & METHODS

For all overdue payments, 2% surcharges will be applied. If payment is not made in accordance with payment terms, Asung Trading Inc will pursue its own legal action toward collecting the unpaid balance. You will be responsible for all legal fees.

For customers who pay with cheques, $20 (non-sufficient funds fee; NSF fee) will be charged for all return cheques.
