SOFN'FREE Nothing But Clarifying Shampoo (12oz)

As I start my locs I wanted a shampoo that cleanse but moisturize and detangle. Nothing But Clarifying with Tree Tree did just that.

I wash my hair once a week despite having oily hair, but due to this and my not your mother's products it's all i need. It gets the job done. The only thing is the scent lingers on my pillows and makes them smell bad after a while, but it's not strong at all on the hair.

I was looking for a more ‘natural’ ingredient clarifying shampoo for my colored hair and thought I’d give this a try. In addition to color, my hair is curly and I put a lot of moisturizer products in it, depend on dry shampoo for those day 2’s and 3’s - so I was experiencing a lot of buildup. This smells great, lathers really well, and it works. After just one time I noticed a difference. My hair was really soft and my dry shampoo didn’t clump up on unseen gross buildup from hair products (*shudder*). I kinda think my curls were extra springy. The only downfall is, I noticed quite a bit of color coming out of my hair when rinsing as I used this shampoo. Keep in mind I’m a redhead by choice, red is notorious for fading faster than any other color. But once styled, I didn’t notice my color fading any sooner than it normally would before using this shampoo. Even if it did, I keep a gloss on hand for just that so not a deal breaker for me.
